With English as the universal language, signs everywhere I travel have been appearing in English in the last 20 years.
But the English isn't always correct. It is usually understandable, but sometimes it is hilarious!
Here are a few examples of funny English - can you tell me where the error is?

English is a powerful language, it's true, but there's a danger of exaggerating here. I live in north Wales, and the daily language of many people around me is Welsh, rather than English.
Furthermore, we should ask ourselves whether we should be exploiting the unfair advantage of being a native speaker of English. I advocate the wider use of the planned international language Esperanto. Have you ever considered the role of Esperanto? Take a look at www.esperanto.net
